Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College provides an impressive environment to support learning. We design and deliver courses to meet the wide range of needs and interests of adults of all abilities and backgrounds.

We are looking for a Learner Services Advisor to work during the time term in a 0.6 fraction (equating to 3 rota-ed days a week).  The successful candidate should have experience of providing excellent customer service, preferably within an education or information advice and guidance environment, to join our busy team working across both our Richmond and Surbiton sites.

This is a front of house role where you will be the initial face of the College for enquiries made in person, online on the phone and via email, therefore playing a vital role in the recruitment of learners to our courses.

You will accurately respond to and process enquiries, course information, and enrolments, as well as carry out a range of administrative tasks including post duties, cashing up, banking, filing and producing letters for learners.

Staff in this role are expected to display a professional image at all times, be motivated to provide excellent customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have good IT skills as well as the ability to manage a varied workload under time constraints.

To be successful in this role, you will also need to demonstrate:

  • That you are highly organised with the ability to process information accurately with excellent attention to detail.
  • That you have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends as required.

Experience of using REMS or similar records software is desirable but not essential.

The Learner Services office operates on a 7 Day rota and opens week evenings across both the Richmond and Surbiton sites. Regular evening and weekend work will be required as part of the rota.

To apply, please complete the online application form via our website and submit by the closing date.
