About you:

As well as subject specific experience and qualifications we expect applicants to hold a minimum teaching qualification such as the PTLLS, the 7407 Stage 1 or the equivalent. You should have some experience of teaching on pre-Entry provision. As per our Tutor Training and Development strategy, it is desirable for you to have DTLLS /PGCE / Cert Ed, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent as well as a relevant Level 3+ qualification in the vocational subject.

As a part-time tutor you will be need to complete the administration associated with these courses. You will be required to attend team meetings once a term during an academic year for which you will be paid. There will be a number of CPD opportunities and training sessions through the year to enable you to upskill as a professional tutor which the college would like you to attend.
