The part-time Biology Tutor will join our School of Foundation Studies to assist with the delivery of Biology courses across the College. This is an part-time established teaching role which will include teaching on a range of courses and levels, including GCSE Biology and Access to HE Diploma (Health and Human Sciences). Your duties will include course preparation, development and administration, providing information and guidance to a range of learners, marking, developing and implementing teaching strategies, preparing students for internal and external assessments, carrying out assessments and internal verification. 

About You

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject and should have experience of teaching a range of classes up to Level 3 in the Further Education sector and hold a full teaching qualification. IT skills are essential along with the ability to communicate, analyse information and produce clear and concise reports.  

You will be an experienced Tutor, primarily in Biology. We are particularly interested in hearing from Tutors who can work during the day as well as some evenings. We would like the Tutor to have experience in working 

in community settings and / or experience of delivering vocationally contextualised learning.
