The School of Art & Design at RHACC is seeking an Art Technician with a specialism in Ceramics.

The School has a long and distinguished history delivering high quality courses to the local community.  Courses range from absolute beginner level to advanced practice and are offered across a wide range of subjects.  These include Ceramics, Painting, Jewellery, Sculpture, Glass, Fashion and Sewing.  The College has great Art facilities across this range of courses, housed in a dedicated building.  Ceramics is one of our most popular areas and we are lucky to have both gas and electric kilns and excellent workshops including a dedicated glazing room.

This Art Technician role at RHACC is a general technical support role, but with a specialism in ceramics.  You will have experience of hand-building, pottery, glazing etc. and ideally experience of loading and firing kilns - though this is not essential.  You will also be responsible for studio organisation, health & safety, stock control and student enquiries.
