About the Role

Working as part of the Skills for Life team, you will report to the Programme Manager for English. You may be teaching on a range of accredited and non-accredited FS and GCSE courses. The duties on each course will include course planning, preparation, marking homework and classwork and course administration including the monitoring and supporting learners to complete PLPs. You will also support with providing advice and information about English courses to a range of learners. We are particularly looking for tutors to teach in outreach centres and at our Hillcroft Centre in Surbiton during the day, in evenings and/or weekends. You will work with your colleagues to ensure high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

About You

Applicants should hold a full teaching qualification and have experience of teaching English. Previous teaching experience within an adult setting would be an advantage. As well as qualification-based courses, we offer skills based, non-qualification courses for our learners and some experience of RARPA would be an advantage.
