About the Role

We are looking for sessional and bank (cover) staff for evening and week end ESOL courses, start date ASAP. 

The successful candidates for this ESOL Lecturing position will be required to:

•   Teach ESOL for the allocated number of hours on a sessional basis

•   Take part in departmental meetings and professional development

•   Monitor learner's progress and contribute to the evaluation and reporting of results in the relevant subject area

•   Aim to make the subject interesting and accessible to a range of students with delivery and resources used.

•   Effective planning, administrative and organisational skills as well as the ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

•   Be committed to professional self-development, through participation in training courses

 

About the you

the ideal candidates for this post are experienced ESOL tutor that have:

•   A recognised teaching qualification e.g. DTLLS, PCET, PGCE or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education

•   Recent experience of teaching adults in an ESOL classroom.

•   The ability to engage different learners through a range of teaching resource
