Programme Manager – Supported Learning

RHACC has an exciting opportunity to join our management team, delivering outreach provision for adults with learning difficulties and/ or disabilities.

If you are enthusiastic, positive-minded, and have a passion for working with people with a disability, this role will enable you to manage a small team of teachers and support staff to deliver a vibrant programme of learning for this group.  You will liaise with learners, their carers, and community organisations to continually develop and improve the offer.

The successful candidate will hold a teaching qualification and will have experience of teaching adults.  Your teaching experience may be in any subject including cookery, arts, drama, music, sport etc, although an understanding of the pre-entry core curricula in maths and English would be an advantage.  If you have a can-do attitude, this is a rewarding role where you will be making a real difference to people’s lives and life chances.

We welcome over 7000 learners to the college each year.  Our learners reflect our community, coming from all abilities, backgrounds, ages. Our curriculum is equally diverse - we offer over 2000 courses of excellent quality across multiple disciplines.
