RHACC is a Specialist Designated Institution for Adult Learning, providing a varied course offer to support the lifelong learning goals of adults.   With daytime, evening, weekend and residential courses across two main campuses and in outreach venues, RHACC is able to meet a broad range of needs, and creates pathways to work and well-being.

We are seeking to appoint an Outreach and Progression Officer to work at the Hillcroft site in Surbiton on the Women’s Education offer.  

You will develop links with community and voluntary organisations to engage women with a range of needs, and provide information and advice about enrolling on the Hillcroft Women’s Education offer.  You will enhance the experience of learners on Women’s Education programmes by devising and delivering a range of social and well-being activities during the daytime, in the evenings and at weekends that are accessible and appropriate to the needs of women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds who may be affected by disability, poor mental health, domestic violence and other areas of social disadvantage.

About you

You should have a minimum of Level 2 English and Maths. The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with a wide range of different people and ability levels, good communication skills, and the enthusiasm to devise, recruit to and, where appropriate, deliver social and well-being activities such as cookery, exercise, games, films, gardening, art and craft etc.

This role may be 1 full-time post, or 2 x 0.5 FTE posts, and this can be discussed at interview. The role will involve evening and weekend work by arrangement.
