Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College provide an impressive environment to support learning. We design and deliver courses to meet the needs, interests and abilities of both adults and young people who wish to learn in an adult environment.

The fractional Maths Tutor will join our School of Foundation Studies to assist with the delivery of Maths courses across the college. This is an established teaching role which will include teaching on a range of 

courses and levels. Your duties will include course preparation, development and administration, providing information and guidance to a range of learners, marking, developing and implementing teaching strategies, preparing students for internal and external assessments, carrying out assessments and internal verification. 

The successful candidate should have experience of teaching a range of classes up to Level 2 in the Further Education sector and hold a full teaching qualification. Advanced IT skills are a must along with the ability to communicate to a range of people, analyse information and produce  clear and concise reports.  

You will be an experienced tutor; primarily in mathematics. We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors who can work some evenings as well as day-time hours and who have experience of working in community settings and/or experience of delivering vocationally contextualised learning. You should also have experience of working on RARPA based courses.
