RHACC is a Specialist Designated Institution for Adult Learning, providing a varied course offer to support the lifelong learning goals of adults. With daytime, evening, weekend and residential courses across two main campuses and in outreach venues, RHACC is able to meet a broad range of needs, and creates pathways to work and well-being.

The Richmond Business School at RHACC is seeking a volunteer to support our IT classrooms where they will conduct duties to support our teachers with resourcing, inventory management and IT related duties within the CISCO academy administration.

Internal Applicants only 

Tasks include: 

  • Updating the business school IT resource inventory.
  • Helping with research of appropriate resources and marketing materials to raise the profile of the CISCO academy.
  • Working alongside the programme manager to support the CISCO
     Academy and administration tasks.

Good verbal and written communication is essential, and the ability to contribute positively to a small team with multiple priorities. Good spreadsheet skills, and previous experience in a customer service role would both be advantageous. The working hours and length of placement are to be negotiated, but it is anticipated that the volunteer will be needed for approximately 1-2 days a week (hours to be agreed).

Students will benefit from being able to take part in realistic work experience for their CV and will receive a reference to help with their future employability prospects
