About the Role

Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College (RHACC) is an adult learning provider with a vibrant and wide-ranging curriculum offering learning programmes for adults of all ages and abilities, enabling participation in learning for work, life and wellbeing. 

The College has a new and exciting vacancy for a motivated and experienced individual, with IQA experience, to our join our team as Distance Learning Coordinator.

Focusing on the needs of learners and local employers, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting curriculum managers to  ensure RHACC’s Distance Learning offer is effective and of excellent quality. 

About you

you will:

  • be able to demonstrate excellent organisation skills 
  • have sound knowledge, understanding and experience of implementing assessment principles, methodologies and quality assurance practices
  • have demonstrable knowledge and experience of internal quality assurance 
  • have sound knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and standards (related to assessment and quality assurance)
  • be able to effectively communicate and demonstrate the interpersonal skills required to provide constructive feedback to learners/assessors and Internal Quality Assurers
  • will ideally have experience of Distance Learning interaction, whether as a learner, assessor, IQA or developer
  • have a proficient level of I.T skills that will allow you to swiftly  familiarise and adapt to a range of [online] learning platforms and software tools 
  • have the ability to work collaboratively and independently 
  • be able to manage multiple priorities to deadline 

You must hold a a teaching qualification (ideally level 4 or above) and/or a recognised Assessor award.

Please note, the role is not advertised as a Remote Working Post and attendance at college sites will be required. However, remote working patterns will be considered.
