RHACC is a Specialist Designated Institution for Adult Learning, providing a varied course offer to support the lifelong learning goals of adults. With daytime, evening, weekend and residential courses across two main campuses and in outreach venues, RHACC is able to meet a broad range of needs, and creates pathways to work and wellbeing.   

The role is needed to manage and develop our already excellent learning support service for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. Working as part of the Inclusive Learning team, you will manage a team of variable-hours and established learning  support workers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, ambitious learning support, which meets the needs and aspirations of this adult learner group. 

You will work collaboratively with a range of colleagues across the college to ensure that learning, work and life opportunities for this learner group are maximised. 

About you

You will have experience of providing support to adults with a range of support needs, in order to develop life and work skills. Ideally, you will have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification and experience of leading a team.

This role will primarily be located at our Parkshot site during term time where little or no remote working conditions will be possible. This may be flexible during the holidays following flexible working procedures.
