About the Role
This is a critical role to the college, providing technical support within the Art & Design Department across both campuses. The post holder will have responsibility to work collaboratively with the Head of Art & Design and other departments including the Supported Learning Department to ensure an outstanding learner experience in a range of disciplines through the provision of high quality and professional technical support.
About You
An excellent communicator who is able to form positive and collaborative working relationships across college. Has a good working knowledge of the technical needs of a busy Art & Design department with knowledge of disciplines including ceramics, printmaking, painting and drawing, mosaic and specialist areas such as bookbinding and oil painting restoration. To be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the College across both its campus sites. To be able to manage budget and prioritise work demands to ensure quality of service is maintained.
