About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of MIS and Funding, the post holder will be responsible to oversee the entire MIS department, ensure the strategic alignment of the MIS functions with the organizational goals, oversee reporting, funding planning and data management, and project planning.
As a member of the college management team, the person appointed will:
- Lead the MIS team in strategic initiatives and daily operations
- Ensure that all data requirements of funding organisations are met. You will provide the Executive team and curriculum managers with accurate information and high-quality reports and ensure that management team receives strategic insights derived from the reports.
- Coordinate with other department heads to integrate MIS resources effectively
- Ensure that curriculum managers receive accurate and timely management information to aid performance monitoring and contribute to the annual SAR process and Ofsted inspections.
About You
It is essential that you have experience and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of funding methodologies and reporting requirements for relevant funding streams. In addition, you should also possess a detailed understanding of the data requirements to support the annual SAR process and Ofsted inspections.
Advanced level IT Skills are required (e.g. SQL Server, report writing tools) along with the ability to analyse and present data at strategic and operational levels.
Experience of managing teams and the skills to provide leadership and support to MIS staff are essential.
